We are asking all parents and guardians to take a few moments to complete the 2025–2026 School Improvement Parent Survey. Your feedback is incredibly important and helps guide decisions that improve our school for all students.

To make things a little more fun this year, we are introducing a friendly competition! The class with the highest parent participation at both the elementary and secondary levels will win a prize. The survey will close on April 10, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.

We truly value your input and appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts. Your voice plays a vital role in helping us make our school the best it can possibly be.

Thank you for your continued support!

We are grateful to be part of such a caring and involved group of NEVC families, it truly showed at our Title Night!

Over 70 people joined us for a fun and engaging evening. Thanks to the generous support of our NEVC PTO and NEVC Elementary School, 43 students each received 2 free books, 86 books in total!

Families visited a variety of stations focused on the importance of reading at home, MAP assessment preparation, Parents as Teachers (PAT), and information about Title I, Title II, and Title IV programs.

Students also had a great time participating in an interactive read-aloud, an art activity, and a music activity!

Our PTO served over 60 hot dog meals, helping make the night even more special for our families.

Thank you for your support, we truly have an amazing community that cares about our kids!

Separately, we would also like to thank our anonymous donors. Because of your generosity, 17 additional students were able to receive 2 free books from the book fair last week, bringing the total to 60 students who received free books, for a total of 120 books.

Additionally, our PTO donated $50 to each teacher to help add books to their classroom libraries!

Everyone's support is truly appreciated and continues to make a difference for our kids!

Celebrating Student Growth:
Showing growth is important and something we focus on at NEVC Elementary because learning is a journey, not a race. When students work hard, reflect on feedback, and keep trying, even when learning feels challenging, they build confidence and lifelong skills that extend beyond the classroom.

Please join me in congratulating the following students for showing growth on their STAR Reading assessment and/or Momentum Math assessment. We are proud of their effort, perseverance, and commitment to learning!
