Over 70 people joined us for a fun and engaging evening. Thanks to the generous support of our NEVC PTO and NEVC Elementary School, 43 students each received 2 free books, 86 books in total!
Families visited a variety of stations focused on the importance of reading at home, MAP assessment preparation, Parents as Teachers (PAT), and information about Title I, Title II, and Title IV programs.
Students also had a great time participating in an interactive read-aloud, an art activity, and a music activity!

Showing growth is important and something we focus on at NEVC Elementary because learning is a journey, not a race. When students work hard, reflect on feedback, and keep trying, even when learning feels challenging, they build confidence and lifelong skills that extend beyond the classroom.
Please join me in congratulating the following students for showing growth on their STAR Reading assessment and/or Momentum Math assessment. We are proud of their effort, perseverance, and commitment to learning!
