Northeast Vernon County R-I School District is seeking a highly organized and collaborative professional to serve as a Part-Time IEP Compliance Coordinator. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the district's compliance with federal and state special education regulations while supporting high-quality services for students with disabilities.
The IEP Compliance Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the district's special education compliance processes to ensure all requirements of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), the Missouri State Plan for Special Education, and district policies are met. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with special education teachers, administrators, and related service providers to maintain accurate documentation, monitor timelines, and support continuous improvement in special education services.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Special Education or Educational Administration.
Missouri Special Education certification.
Thorough knowledge of IDEA, the Missouri State Plan for Special Education, and procedural safeguards.
Experience developing, reviewing, and monitoring Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Strong organizational, communication, and data management skills.
Ability to build positive working relationships and provide collaborative coaching to staff.

Employment: Part-Time
Compensation (Board Approval Pending):
$36.00 per hour for up to 680 hours annually, or
$25,000 annual stipend for approximately 85 workdays
