HIRING SUBSTITUTE BUS DRIVERS
Northeast Vernon County R-1 is seeking reliable and safety-conscious Substitute School Bus Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting students safely to and from school and school-related activities while maintaining a professional and courteous attitude.
Benefits:
Starting Salary $46/Route and $15/ hour for field trips and activities
Requirements:
Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with school bus (S) and passenger (P) endorsements
Clean driving record
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Previous experience as a bus driver is preferred, but not required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to student safety and punctuality
Schedule:
Morning and afternoon routes (Split shift)
Occasional field trips or extracurricular events
